At Bethany Cemetery, we understand that selecting a final resting place for you or someone you love is a personal and often challenging process. We’re here to make it as smooth as possible, while honoring the wishes of your loved ones.
Bethany Cemetery offers a variety of options for traditional and cremation burials, including both in-ground and aboveground (niche) inurnments. Our chapel, located at our cemetery in Duluth, MN, is free and available for all burials. Here, you’ll find a private and comforting place to reflect and honor the recently departed.
Traditional Burial*
Burial costs (overtime charge after 3pm weekdays and all day Saturday)
- Summer (May 1 – November 30): $1,200
- Winter (November 30 – April 30): Call for price
- Child: $300
Lot costs
- Single: $1,100
- Double: $2,200
- Double in monument row: $2,400
- Cremation (3-1/2 x 3-1/2 lot) $600
*All burials must have a concrete vault.
Cremation
Below-ground cremation costs* (3½ x 3½ lot) (overtime charge after 3pm weekdays and all day Saturday)
- Summer (May 1 – November 30): $900**
- Winter (November 30 – April 30): Call for price**
- Vault: $250
- Child: $60*
Aboveground cremation costs (niche)
- $1,300 (+ $250 niche opening fee)
Stone-setting fees:
- Single (2 x 1 x 4 or 10 x 20 x 4): $250
- Bronze (1 x 1): $300
- Companion: $375
- Infant: $100
- Monuments: $450
